This artifact shows a photo of students in the Middle School Chill Out Club that I designed with Jamie Andrus and ran for one trimester. The club started with six 6th grade girls, but gradually grew to about 10. We used the yoga room to sit quietly and most students read or stretched.
This artifact supports the indicators (3) collaboratively designs and evolves course curricula that are reflective of their academic discipline’s philosophy and derivative of the school’s overarching philosophy and (4) updates course content to reflect the contemporary world.
